I got about 20 oz of veggies from the experimental misting system.
I looked at the health food and grocery stores here that sell sprouts.
Sprouts are going for $3.99 for 4 oz.
I still have not seen sprouts at the farmers market so I think that this may be the niche to get started

Don, what all do you grow in sprout form and what are their uses? Are they garnish, condiments, "healthy alternatives", etc.? Any sources for further info? Are you using your fish tank water or tap water? I'm wondering if this method might be good for a herb garden.
At what point did our government cease to be of the people, by the people, and for the people?

The nutritional value of sprouts is amazing.
there are tons of ways to grow sprouts
there are many counter top systems out there that are easy to use
I just wanted something that would be cheap and automatic...
This system is attached to my outside hose with a timer...
It only comes on 10 minutes every 6 hours so I have the drain topping off my fish tank
I think the misting system would be great for herb gardens...or any gardens...It provides minute droplets of water that the plants can intake more easily .Put all excuses aside and remember this: YOU are capable - Zig Ziglar
