I call this invention the yabbytat, plenty of hides for them to back into, will put a trap out in the morning to see what i can catch out of the creek. There is a small grow area on the top, I figures strawberries would work on there island. If they eat them oh well, just feeding my food

I noticed that you used electrical conduit for some of your plumbing. Are you not concerned about it leaking extra toxins in your recirculated water? I too have used a few electrical conduit adapters in my system, as the regular pluming ones would not work and I was too cheep to buy bulk head fittings.... but to use the actual pipe? That is a lot of contact with the wrong type plastic.

Thanks for the comment on the system. I have since filled up all the holding tanks with water, put plenty of plants in, and have been running the system for almost a week. The grey pipe is schedule 40 pvc, poly vinyl chloride, the same plastic as the white pipe, no im not concerned.
Looking good. How's the "yabbytat" working out? New pics?
+1
Do the crawdads crawl out of the yabbytat? I've had a few before as a kid, and them things were like escape artist. Found them all over the house.
