Re: Is Our Food Safe From Radioactive Contamination?

It isn't all that hard to learn the basics about radio active contamination. Nearly all of these reports have no amounts listed, only that they have been detected. The USDA has safe limits on foods. What we are seeing is nothing compared to what I saw as a kid in the 50's and 60's when above ground nuclear tests were happening all the time.

Being a nuclear worker I am scanned every day as I leave the plant, and when ever I want I can have a whole body count. We are seeing no increase at all.

Also keep in mind that we live in a radiation environment. We are exposed to natural radiation and radioactivity every day. If we didn't have natural resistance to radiation damage, we would not be here. There is a threshold before any effects are seen. We are so far below that it is laughable.

If you want to be worried, worry about the stuff they can legally put in your food.
