    Re: MythBusters and the Prez

    JCO,
a lot of people jumped onto yahoo, greatest free thing since water, turned out after about ten years it came out that yahoo had been selling personal info to the gov. a young man that worked with me had worked for yahoo for 10yrs collecting info. he quit; got a civil engr degree thats how i came to work with him.
norton is a very invasive program, it selectively or non selectively misses a bunch of spyware, trojans and malware. try to remove it completely from your hard drive, once installed, you can't. great back door for any paying member for them.
norton can do a complete or selective wipeout of your drive, but someone has to tell it to do that. always a second party.
unfortunately, some folks look at politics as another football team, right or wrong by God they will die for it; instead of looking behind the baby kissing and handshaking.

    keep up the good work.

you really think fox news is "fair and balanced"... come on.. seriously?

Fair and Balanced is where both points of views are allowed. Show me a network other than Fox that provides time for the opposition.

I really struggle with some of the viewpoints presented by either side. Just try to preserve my country for my grandkids to grow up in with a chance to be part of a free middle America, as I know it.

rfeiller, you and I are right there together. I really don't like DEMs or GOP. Some way, some how we, as Americans, have to get the government back on track where it is dedicated to the preservation of America as prescribed by the Constitution and The Bill of Rights and stop our government from stealing from us to support their agendas and other countries.

    Re: MythBusters and the Prez

i stay out of political discussions for the most part.. when someone points to any news story as an "authoritive" answer to a question, i generally try to find out more about an issue before deciding where i stand.. while i guess i would be considered a dreaded "liberal", i really just want to be left alone and do my own thing, but just a little about me..
i served in the navy from 82-86 - i commend your service as a SEAL, i took the "pre-physical" test in boot camp 4 times, and decided i didn't want to go in that direction..
my wife is disabled, she had 2 back surgeries in 2000, the first "failed", 2 1.5" long screws holding a plate between vertabrae did not "fuse", we didn't know that until probably 2007..
it took 30 months for her to get disability.. the hearing took 13 minutes, our lawyer had never seen a hearing so short, but it was obvious to the judge, lawyer and career specialist that my wife couldn't work.. she can walk, but is in pain 24x7, using the duralgesic patch (100x more powerful than morphine) + an opiate for breakthrough pain.. so i've dealt with the government and i can say i'm not happy with the way things are run.. but my life revolves around trying to keep my job, and take care of my wife.. i have opinions but it's not worth getting worked up over, if i feel strongly about something, i'll try to point out a different viewpoint or provide valid information, but in the end, i've learned that everyone is going to believe what/who they want.. i've got conservative friends, and liberal friends.. i don't have room for idiots..(and i'm not saying anyone herre is an idiot, otherwise why would i "hang out" here,, ya know?)
debates aint what they used to be

    Re: MythBusters and the Prez

    Keith_r,

As far as I am concerned, you have as much "BACKBONE" as any SEAL I ever served with (except for my best friend J.B. who didn't make it back (he was the best spotter I ever had) or maybe for me ) (as badflash will tell you, like you, I have no patience with idiots either) and you definitely have a full plate with your wife's problems, however you are still welcome to state your views here or on http://webnewsfeed.com and I will defend your right to your opinion against all comers.

I would really love to have you on the news blog though...I need the input to help me fill the 4 spots.

Did any of the rest of you actually go to the site to see what it looked like and the lead-ins I had written? I was rather proud of the articles I wrote even though I apparently stepped on someone's toes and ruffled some feathers. But you know what the say "F***** if they can't take a joke! Sorry about the spelling....the * got hung...

Anyway, I am still waiting for some warm bodies to step up and help me out with the blog articles. Just like Billy The Kid said "I'll make you famous"! How bout it...any takers anywhere in the world?
