    Re: MythBusters and the Prez

I'm not feeling well, haven't had my coffee yet and just got up.....so, it's a perfect time to stir the 'sump'.

If you worship at the alter of PC...don't read the following.....

1st....since you have to be at least 35 to run for the president, make a law saying you have to be that old to vote.

2nd....Federal workers now make twice as much as a 'real' job....
All federal employees, including elected officials... (EXCEPT THE MILITARY) immediately lose 15% of their pay, 10% more the following year, for the next 3 years. This includes any retired ones too. All benefits immediately end....any benefits given in the future, will be voted on in a national election (SEE # 1)

The military would immediately receive a 15% pay increase and 10% more for the next 3 years.

3rd.....No federal employees are to join/form a union.

Teachers in any school receiving federal, state or local taxes, are forbidden from belonging to a union.

random, drifting thoughts after a big swig of Nyquil....

-Not every kid will make the little league team....deal with it

-kids will be 'left behind' in school...the parents will pay for the extra year

-Manufactures DONT have to put a tag on a hair dryer, saying not to use it while in the shower.

-If you run from the cops, for any reason....you will be shot and/or tazzed....and it doesn't mater if you are on top of a wall, fall off and get hurt. Your parents didn't teach you what 'stop' meant...sue them .

    - if your in a car and run from the police....when your caught/crash you will be beat to a bloody pulp, right in front of the cameras in the helicopter

    - (If your not a felon) everyone has to own at least one gun.....and yearly demonstrate that you can use it ...SAFELY.

35 to vote? what about military or would there be excpetions for people that agree with your pov?

i think it should be a law that EVERYONE has to vote (after the age of 18)..
lets say half the people vote, and of that half, just over half of them vote "conservative".. so 28% of the people should be telling everyone else what to do?

people really need to get facts.. the whole wealth re-distribution thing is so taken out of context.. called marxist, socialist or what have you.. people need to wake up and realize the wealth has already been distributed to the top 1% because if anyone paid attention, they would see that by keeping there mouths shut or just going along with the talking points.. the real control of the US is by corporations, you know, the ones that the supreme court said were considered "citizens" - i would think with that classification, they would be held accountable, but again, look who writes the rules..

the whole conservatives bashing liberals, and liberals bashing conservatives is just used to manipulate people..

As always there is true and false statements on both. The pendulum swings far to the left and to the right somewhere in the middle is the best we can do. As far as servicemen go if it weren't for the greed the servicemen probably would not be in harms way. As a Vietnam vet and with several nephews in harms way I have nothing but disdain for wall street and the 300stock holders of the federal reserve. They should have earned the right to vote.

Keith, There must of been a lot of thought and reasoning, why the president has to be at least 35. Based on that same reasoning...I feel one should be of that age to vote.

I do agree with you on a couple points........ everyone should have to vote.

Big corps do control the money, and with money ,there is power.

I think if you join, or are drafted into the military, you've earned the right to vote.

Being compelled to vote is a bad idea. Why would you want someone who doesn't care deciding how the rest of us that do care live?

Those that care enough to be involved should be the ones deciding. I feel that the govenment should do only what the constitution allows it to do, so it shouldn't being telling us what to do. We should be telling it what to do.

The top 10% of the earners pay over 70% of the taxes. Even if we had a flat tax, the more you make, the more you'd pay. Just because you are successful you should be robbed by those that don't want to work? BTW, if you make 110K a year, you are in the top 10%. Here in NY I pay 60% of my income to taxes. How much more would it take to make you feel that I was paying my fair share?

Anything the government spend it takes from someone. Once the government takes more than 50% I call it socialism. The more the government takes, the less I have to spend and the less likely I would be to be able to afford to hire someone. Ever get a job from a poor guy?

    Re: MythBusters and the Prez

i really think things have gone past the point of being fixable. 5 federal judges are in the process of making recomdations to amend the constitution. people have been bs'd into being driven by terrorist fear. the us gov has been the biggest marketing program osama bin laden could possibly have hired. still the biggest financial backer is saudia arabia.

one after another of our rights have been taken away by this fabricated crap generated by both politacal parties. there is a hell of a lot of money to be made as long as the american people can be coerced into fighting for the powers to be. it certainly isn't for the freedom of any country we have invaded in the last 50 yrs. no oil no war. plain and simple. oh, and the holy second world war; pearl harbor was attacked by japan because the usa had threatened to take away it's oil for invading china. of course that didn't stop the same families that control this country today from suppling japan with metals needed for them to build weapons to fight us for most of the war.

then there is the pacification of the masses with socialist programs so that it destroys any reason to be motivated to produce anything, the government needs the votes of the welfare recipients, illigals. not to mention political correctness.

as far as ron paul and the fed res, right i can see him doing a whole bunch, once he runs out of hot air and they tell him to shut up.

    Re: MythBusters and the Prez

I see what ya'll are up to. Ya'll know better....don't get me started! I don't have the time to tell you everything....otherwise I would be sitting here banging these keys for days on end.

I have a website http://webnewsfeed.com which was a political blog I started in 2009. I hammered Obama and his cronies like an anvil continuously. I had a mailing list of over 200 people that I emailed every article to and they loved them. One morning I got up and my complete database had been erased without a trace from my leased server with no tracks as to how.

You can go there now and the blog is still up and running (as if it never had an entry of any kind) and the main page of the site still has all the lead in blurbs to the articles I wrote, but that's all that exists. Take a look....there's no doubt you would at least get a laugh here and there out of the lead-ins and no, I don't have copies of the stories I wrote because the hard drive on the computer I used to compose them on came down with a mysterious virus that Norton didn't detect and it crashed cold turkey. I took it to my favorite computer geek and he said it was toast and looked as if it had never even been formatted although he couldn't get it to format when he tried.

Now who do you know that has the power to go in and do as they please with your info and infect your personal computer with a hard drive killing virus? Someone did it to the computers in the NUKE facility in IRAN...right? Could have been a liberal hacker, but I have had sites, this one in particular and more than once as Badflash can attest, hacked before, but hackers like to brag so they leave something behind to show off their knowledge and skills. Not the case this time....my server provider could not find a trace of where anyone had logged into my serve but me. Go figure. I know I didn't erase months of my own work just for the hell of it.

To answer the question that's everyone's mind, NO.!...they didn't scare me into being quiet. I am a Viet Nam Vet and former Navy SEAL with service ribbons for the Cuban Blockade and Viet Nam with a few other goodies thrown in that I won't talk about. So what are they going to do? KILL ME? It could be done as they have the resources, but I have an insurance policy locked away that would make the Wiki leaks fiasco look like a kindergarten class project and they know it so I don't think they really want to go there but you never know.

Am I afraid...not really. I am more concerned about driving around town because the traffic on the streets here in Jacksonville does scare me not to mention the drive byes and stray bullets.

    A little off subject here:

The other day a lady I know (a former tax client of mine) was killed while driving down Blanding Blvd. (a 6 lane street) by a stray bullet from a shoot out over a drug deal that went bad. The drug deal shootout was on a side street over a block away from where she was driving by the end of the street where it interconnected with Blanding and just happened to have taken place as she drove by. She was married and had 3 children, a registered nurse and a very nice lady.

    Back on track:

I just really have not had the time to devote to it. At 67 yrs of age, I'm back in college getting a teaching degree and between classes and homework I'm socked in but like General MacArthur, "I shall return" with a force to be reckoned with. I added that last part myself.

Just as an after thought....anyone of you (even if you are a liberal....just like FOX NEWS...we are fair and balanced )who has the gumption to put your thoughts into print and would be interested in being a contributing author on my site, I have four spots available and you can put us as many articles as you want and I promise I will not edit your articles unless they contain profanity. Say what you please about the political scene and I will put it up for the world to see and email it to my mailing list, but it must be relevant to the current political scene in American and coherent enough to convey a thought clear enough to be understood. I will also allow a graphic to be included as is presently done on the home page as a lead in. What say...? Any takers..? Dinner's on the table....BACKBONE ANYONE...?
