A hoy hoy! Found out about those chilis and those are the ones we grow here all the time, not sure if they the ones in my system but still have access so will definately grow them.

Hi Abdul,
Good to see your regular posts in the last weeks. In just an off-hand observation I am guessing that the vine type plants that you have in AP are aggressive growers. The volume of leafing and the number of blossoms require much of the available nutrient in your system. Blossoms i.e. flowers are "needy" nutrient grabbers. Pinch off some of the blossoms in a cluster to see if you can get others to set. Do you know for certain that more than one plant of the species may be needed to cross-pollinate? Such is the case with corn for example. Corn is a full sun heat loving plant. In Pakistan I expect you have plenty of both. Your dirt corn may be doing better in full sun than the AP corn in partial shade. If as you said it has the added benefit of AP watering you will be seeing tassels on the cobs soon.
You appear to be gardening on a patio or roof terrace. Nice place.

Hey Dennis, am gardening on the roof. Today noticed the AP corn put up its flowers nice and tall so hopefully should see some action there soon.

The vines are aggressive but in my test a little over a week ago there were nitrates in the system, will be checking again today.

The clusters usually open one at a time anyways, am pretty sure its a problem of them being eaten now as have spotted birds sitting up there. Had a bit of excitement with finding the GB being stuck in continous flow today so a little distracted from the flowering as is. Must do another test today and see what it turns up.
