    Things come along very nicely, lots of cucumber seedlings up and running and a couple more coming up too, they're not big enough to tell what they are yet, but next weeks update should have lots of new green in it

    Things going well, think pH is too high though, will try to lower it in a few days with some more iron sulphate and sulphate of potash, right after i get my test kit and fin out what the pH is!!!

    Have no test kit so no idea :[

    Have litmus paper, did a test with that about a month ago and it was basic. Will do another tonight. Hopefully should have test kit in a day or so.

    Why are you using iron sulphate and sulphate of potash to lower the pH instead of vinegar or hydrochloric acid (food grade of course)?

    I'm using it to add iron and potassium, the pH lowering is just a beneficial by product.

    Going to use lemons to lower pH once I have a kit and can measure it :[

    A ghost pepper what is? or do you mean that the once dead plant is alive again hence ghost pepper ;]?
