Not jumping into your business, however you should never, ever put wild caught "anything" into your established system . You can't ever tell what you might be introducing there. All newly acquired "anything" should be quarantined and watched closely for no less than 10 days and longer if anything looks suspicious.

OK, nuff said, carry on...smokem' if you gotem' etc.

    I hear ya JCO!
we're (meaning me) still testing all kinds of stuff, and i was pretty happy about plant growth, and didn't want to slow it down. a neighbor left the fish in a pail of water on my porch, so i went ahead and put them in..
i don't have a second system or anything set up for quarantine yet, that's all on the agenda though.. little by little i'll get there..

    no info from highwater..
but there are more fish in the tank than i thought

4 of the gobies died.. looked pretty beat up!.. it's so hard to tell how many fish are in that black tank! i might try to figure out a way to get a count of whats in my tank before i do any other stupid stuff..

not that it will keep me from doing stupid sh!t, but i'll be approaching things just a little more cautiously
plants are still looking good except for one cuke that died with a fruit on it..pulled some salad out, another cuke, and some tom's from the dirt.. tom's in the gb are starting to flower!
