I want wish everyone a happy Fourth of July. While we all sometimes think our nation is going to hell in a hand basket, and it just may be, it is still the best nation in the world. I thank all the active, reserve, and veterans, both alive and deceased, for our opportunity to participate in the freedoms we still enjoy. Have a safe holiday and come back tomorrow with fingers still attached.

I was never in the military due to physical limitations however I know that those men and women who serve have risked all for us all. It does not matter whether they were in combat or in a support role, them and their families deserve our thanks and respect.
