Rock Ranch Aquaponics

Hey Guys,

Its been a while since I have been on and I have much to report. I moved to CO and found an amazing piece of property which I am farming with my little brother, I believe the name we have decided on is Rock Ranch, you would know why if you tried to dig garden beds here . In addition to this new system we have two ponds that are fed by an irrigation canal, check this out, the ppm is < 20 and the ph is 6.2 - 7.7, NOT BAD!!!

Here are a few photos of the new system, I am using the 12' x 30" above ground Intex pool, about $80 with a crappy pump that I may use for additional circulation. I have three IBC tanks cut in half, about $300. Plus a sump pump I nabbed from Harbor Freight for $50. It has a float off switch if the tank gets to low. Plus about $150 or so bones in plumbing stuffs, valves and whatnot. And rocks will be about $80 or so I need about a yard and a half or two not quite sure. So I think all said and done I have less than $800.
