`non food grade poly barrel

Hi again
saw a post about about wax and also painting the inside of a grow bed ,What about the poly barrels can I put a plastic bag liner, paint the poly barrel, bleach it, scrub it,put in the sun for awhile etc?

scrub with detergent, bleach rinse then vinegar rinse, let it sit for a couple days in the sun and add water..let that sit in the sun, if you get algae then you're good to go
plastic liners will rip.. don't waste your time or money
paint will chip off of plastic
