Hello everyone,
My husband and I have toyed around with a home-built aquaponics system in our basement for about a year. We've had great successes and some head-scratching moments... We've posted some of our progress on a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MICROaquaponics. It features pictures of our system, pictures of the plants, and pictures of the bugs (thrips, I think) that recently infested the whole thing. I'll be posting updates on my war on the invaders as I go.
There are still tons of things we don't know, and probably a good deal we do wrong. But we look forward to learning from all of you, and keep our aquaponic system boldly going where no other system has gone before
