Yellowing leaves

So my system is fairly new and I am growing some peppers, basil and scallions. What I am worried about is that the new leaves on my pepper plant are yellowing but my basil is thriving like crazy. I have read that it could be a nitrogen, iron, or manganese deficiency causing the yellowing but wouldn't that affect the basil as well? Any thoughts?

First, welcome to the forum....

I think peppers are 'nutrient hogs' compared to basil. It seems like, systems need to be more mature to support them.
It does look like a pinch of iron may help your system. I like maxi crop 'with' iron. Your local hydroponic shop may have it in stock.

I also have yellowing leaves and stunted growth with small fruits any help?

Check your pH levels, high levels 7.8 or > will prevent your plants from utilizing the nitrates in your system.

I have never had any luck growing peppers but I cant kill my basil if I tried...It is like the energizer bunny...just keeps growing (going)...

Peepers take a lot of nutrients in my opinion. Something I just can't keep going in winter months. Lettuce cabbage and herbs go wild still in the cold.
