very very new: ?? on indoor apt setup w west facing windows

I'm new to everything and live in an apartment. I am wondering what veggies/fruit if any would grown with a system setup in front of a west facing sliding glass door with no obstructions and no artificial lamps. This is also located in southeast florida. I'm trying to do this inside and avoid huge electric bills and/or police heat scanning my house from their helicopters looking for marijuana growers..

My goal would to just be able to grown enough vegetables for myself to eat basically. I've kind of come to a change in my life and now I am spending tons of money on vegetables and fish an thinking I may be able to provide this to myself.

Thanks for any assistance/links/anything. Google is getting worn out from me
