    Kelp extracts

The local store has Kelp Meal which has 1% N and 2% K.

Does anyone know if this would be comparable to MaxiCrop?

...Oh no ! Urbanfarmer's has been hacked ! Someone has signed in under his name and answered 11:11's question without 1st asking questions on which to base an answer....like....

-What 'brand' does your local store carry ?
-What parameters should we base 'better' on ?
-Should I compare Maxi-crops version of 'kelp meal' or...one of their other products, to the one your considering ?

Would the 'REAL' Urbanfarmer please sign in and respond.... :P ...
Just having a little fun UF... ......I'm just use to you being so thourough in your research and answers

You gotta ease the newbies into that kind of abuse.

Ok, I went ahead and bought a bad. It doesn't have iron though.

    Re: Kelp extracts

I have all 5 of the 40 gallon beds circulating and am wondering how much kelp extract to use. The is a dry type.

The directions are more for large area broadcast and aren't much help.

Also, I put some comets (guinea pigs) in the fish tank yesterday. The water temp dipped down to 55F last night but they seem to be doing fine so far.

Today, I'm planning on trying out one of my water heater ideas. The easiest one will be the electric heater element from Home Depot so that'll be first.

I'm not familure with your product.
It's easier to add, then remove ....

I would add a 'part of a spoon' to each grow bed, where the water comes in.
