tilapia will eat pretty most everything, what kind of meat are you taking about.. and depending on what it is, they may not make the most of their food conversion ratio.

You can't feed them straight meat...remember this is a balance. Also you are feeding something worth $3/lb maybe....meat that cost $5-6/lb or more. Don't use the steak! There's better ways to do this.
