Am realling excited about Aquaponics and just starting to research. My cousin teaches it and is a missionary, now in Kauai. He went to Fiji and Cambodia! I am trying to find the least expensive tank for the fish....don't really like plastic because of phlatates, etc. I don't even really trust food grade. Ideally fiberglass would be ideal but that would be expensive! I talked w/the contact person for this website and he built his half underground and on top. We like that idea and then line it w/at least 10mi plastic from HD...I guess that's what we're going to try as the below ground will help keep the temperature more constant for the fish!

ANy ideas from CALIFORNIA for the fish container??? Home Depot only sells weird shaped 150/300 gallon. Our local Farm Supply has a gray 150 gal for $149.99.

Thanks for the welcome. There wasn't a link. I called their fish pond supply dept (Garden). I'm in Central CA.

When you post a reply here, What does 'include signature' mean? And what is UPC??

I'm going to guess, but I believe UCP (not UPC) is User Control Panel, located in the user preferences. That is where you put your personal information. It can be accessed from the Portal page on the far right under the User Menu. You can place a signature there, like the one that follows my post "To measure is to Know", as well as other information.
