I have seen a few people on here from georgia, just looking to see whats going on with my neighbors, if your out there, speak up.
And also north florida. Maybe we can all get up and talk about it over a few beers sometime.

I am trying to put on a class from the small farms academy through University of Florida. If I do, the class will be in North Florida. It's just in the talk-stage right now, but if it goes through, you are more than welcome to attend. I want to make it free, but they typically charge for it for some reason. At this point I don't know much about that side of it, I'm trying to jump through the hoops to even get the process rolling.

Id like to take a few of those classes. Live oak would be the closest to me, prolly the only one i could afford to go. The wife needs to take the class on Tractors For Women. cause she aint getting close to my tractor, she tears up the lawn mower every time she gets on it.
The mushroom class would be cool. I want to include some on the next AP system i build. I came up with an "earth table" to put my GBs on. Using some scrub oaks from the woods, and some compost/fill dirt. Like a double raised bed, with GB on top. The idea is to plant the veg plants in the AP system, surround the barrels or whatever with herbs in the raised bed, companion plant the whole thing. With mushrooms growing on the sides that are built with the scrub oaks.

i got two IBC tanks for free yesterday. Imagine the look on her face when she saw one in the back of the truck. she would rather me be inside with her than in the yard doing my projects. try to get her to help and be more involved but . . . .
anyhow, im thinking of a new system again, got a bunch of barrels and two totes to play with
