View Full Version : Identify This Plant
Anyone like forum games  ? On some forums I have noticed a lot of id this, fish, turtle, gun, and so on. So as I have no life :ugeek: and get bored a lot  , i figured I'd start one here. 8-)
Generally the rules for such games are someone posts a picture, you identify the picture, you get to post a picture.
WOW MAN...! An awesome new bud...! 8-)

My first guess would be a castor bean plant.
Hmm... Plants are kinnda hard to id.. maybe we should include some kind of hint or have a time limit, feel free to post ideas if you think this sounds like fun. I guess that's kind of an off topic plant for aquaponics too.
Here is my hint: Ornimental flower, Famous for looking like Cannabis, also Starts with a C.
Or if you think this is a really stupid idea just post "Kill with fire".. lol

OK a hint… the flower smells like a corpse. When mine first bloomed I had buzzards in the yard.
Haha. I was going to guess corpse flower. I can't find a species that matches the leaves.

Man, I got a friend with neighbors that complain about the smell of his garden. I bet if he planted a few of them they would never wine about the usual smell again.

No
Once widespread in eastern North America, overharvesting has made it a rarity.
95% of commercial production is in Wisconsin.
