Been tinkering with aquaponics for some time and stumbled across this forum. I'm interested in learning what I can from more experienced growers and passing along any experience I have to those willing to listen. I am attaching a couple of pics from my latest adventure. I am always expanding and looking for new ways to enjoy my hobby. Thanks for allowing me to join you guys...IMG00032-20100921-2048.jpg[/attachment:3e16ts8u]IMG00037-20100925-2026.jpg[/attachment:3e16ts8u]

The IBC's are connected by a 2" pvc from the drain ports of each. I have actually made some changes since these pic were taken. I now use one pump to flood both gb's and one pup to circulate the water feeding both tanks. The gb's are fixed to the tanks and I used angle iron and 2x6's to reinforce the bottoms. Pea gravel is pretty heavy for the metal frame that come with the IBC's. So far I've only got gold fish in the tanks but hope to start with some tilapia soon.
