to start off i understanding the patent rights of 20 yrs. on roses. i respect that.
hydroponically:
what has been your favorite method of cloning roses; cuttings or bud grafts?
if you do bud graphs are they on rooted root stock or cuttings?
i am in the process of setting up different methods for cloning roses in the green house, but never cloned roses hydroponically and would appreciate some input. types trying: mineral block submersed, fogging cutting stems, planted in core with feed, and submersed in highly aggitated solution. all have been dipped in rooting gel.
i have started cuttings on several occassions and hybridized roses in the past using water solution, potting soil or dirt.
i am overwhelmed by the selection of nutrient solutions out there.
i do use the nutrients from my koi pond filters,
after i understand what the roses actually require for the greatest success; as i have something to contribute on what does and doesn't work i will share it with everyone.

thanks

I've never done grafting. I'll be very interested to see what you come up with.
