Here are a few pics of my new "trial" system I just completed this past Saturday. It's built mostly from materials scavenged from various constructions sites along with a few plumbing parts and water pump that was purchased. It's nothing fancy, but it'll work as a learning tool.

I've planted chives, parsley, cucumber. melons, tomatoes, swiss chard, and lettuce and put in seven wild caught blue gill (one of which I lost a few days in) from a nearby pond. The plants are taking off well. I added a trellis to train the cucumbers and melons on.
