Hello from Phoenix Az....

Started my system on 9/22/2014 with a 275gal IBC tote and whole heck of a lot of reading..
All except PVC piping was reclaimed or recycled material. Made 4 beds out of (2)55 gal food safe barrels. made a DWR out of an old tub and used 3 55gal drums as sumps/nursery and a solar water heater. I have used river rock,lava rock and granite as my media. Took me approx. 3 weeks to get the system cycled. I used fish to start it all up I have Blue, Black, Red and Hawaiian gold Tilapia....As soon as I figure out how to post pics again I will post pics of my system...
Any other Phoenicians on the board?
As For the CrazyCattleDog part well my cattledog was the only one that stuck with me while building it so I call it CrazyCattleDog Aquaponics project..... :mrgreen: The dog aint wired right but she's not wired wrong if you know what I mean... :lol: :lol:
