or some sort of light to attact bugs to the fishtank?

if so, how would you rate the volume and/or effectiveness as a supplement to fish food?

and, what kind of lights or zapper? Oh, yeah, one more thing. any pictures of the setup to avoid any shocking mishaps in the tank?

I've had this thought too. I thinking of using a zapped above my tank next year.

I used one over my pond one year along with a yellow bug light and the fish loved it.

We only have a house hand held zapper but the catch goes in the tank as feed. If I had one over a pond I would remove the bottom plate and just let them fall into the water. Many people I know that live on lakes have moved their zappers away from the house and out over the water When the fish hear the zap they hear a dinner bell. Unless the amount of dead bugs in in the pounds I would just consider it a treat. We also net sewing needles for our larger fish and they eat them up also.
