Seems like forever but its only been a month since I started my aquaponic adventure. Drove 5 hours to get my fingerlings, but its done. Just wanted to share a pic of my tank with all 90 of my new babies!!! 40 Crappie, and 50 catfish.

I know the feeling Waterboy. When I got my tilapia into my tank it gave me the sense that my system was finally whole, even though I already have expansion ideas in my head. Congratulations and keep those babies from floating!

The fish appear to be doing well in their new aquaponics (http://aquaponicsideasonline.com) tank. Good Job!

Lost about 5 catfish, but not 1 crappie. Not to bad for my first attempt and a long drive!!!

Waterboy,

Looks great, also where are you located and what kind of container do you have your fish in?

Right outside Baton Rouge La. Its a cow feeding/watering trough. With the weird design my grow beds ended up with, I needed a very low drain back into my fishtank. This one was great because its 8 ft wide and allowed me to stock a few more fish. Got it from a tractor supply store locally.

By going to your profile you can add your location so it will show up under your Avatar. Also, I frequent Tractor Supply myself but I have never seen anything that color for sale there. How much and how tall is it.

Gratz! Fish arrival is quite the exciting event. Not sure what fish you have, but if they are tilapia, and you have the right water temp, they'll be huge before you know it.
