Hi,

While I was in the FL panhandle helping my friend build his AP system, we built a small system for his churches produce stand.
It's called 'His Way Produce'

The church sells to the general public, and they also donate a lot of stuff, to folks in the area, that don't have much to eat.

We built a system using an olive barrel as the fish tank. The water is pumped into two mixing tubs that are media beds with bell siphons. Each media tub, drains into a raft bed. Each raft drains back to the fish tank.
The raft beds are 7 feet long, 2 feet wide and 6 inches deep.
My buddy, David Tyner is on the left, I'm on the right...

The produce stand already had some stackers with strawberry plants growing in them. They are done hydroponically.

They also have several acres of 'dirt' gardens. Here's a shot of part of it. They had 1400 tomato plants in the ground. They have soaker hose installed under the plastic....

Plus, the have two large greenhouses that they are putting up. A bunch of us pulled the covering over one of them, early on a Saturday morning....

In this next picture, you can see a concrete block structure. They want to turn it into a fish tank. The plan is....the 2 greenhouses will be used for aquaponics.... 8-)

I want to get back up there when thier 'blue' sweet corn is ready. A cup of it, is reported to have more antioxidents then a cup and a half of blueberries...

Looks like I forgot a few pictures.....

My buddy Dave had a few potted plants. Most were herbs of different kinds.
We planted some in the raft beds....

In one of the media beds, we planted some mint and some cutting cellery...

We gave some basil, cilantro and 2 kinds of lettuce mix seeds to Lisa, to also plant in the media beds.
Lisa is the lady that runs the stand. She sent me an email...she was happy that the seeds were sprouting... :)
