Anyone know of any open medium to large scale systems in Southwest, TX? I am looking to start a backyard system and will be doing a lot of homework in the next few years to see how feasible it would be to go commercial in TX.

BTW first post!!!

i don't think there are any real "commercial" aquaponics systems....
i could be wrong (i often am) but after a few years of looking, i think i would have found one if there was.. at least viable, profitable and selling only veggies and fish..
i've seen quite a few what i would consider "hobby scale", that is, some veggies are sold, and some fish, but nothing profitable on a commercial scale

Yeah, that is what I have found so far. I am really looking to go visit some setups and see how they have it running. I am looking to run a DWC, but to be honest I am really looking at the most cost effective way to use the fish waste. Right now I am looking at running FD then to DWC or some sort other means to use the waste from a bio filter.
