I've recently been introduced to your community through a friend from work. For much of my life, I've kept aquariums/planted tanks/fish and bred invertebrates.
Seeing how I'm familiar with the nitrogen cycle (and keeping both plants/animals), it was only natural for me to get sucked into aquaponics.

It's been about a month now since I started working on a local aquaponic farm here (Sahib Aquaponics) and in the coming days I'll be setting up my own system at home.
I'm looking forward to learning a lot through this community!

And here's some random pics from my other aquatic hobbies:

As a side project of one of my aquaponics i tried to create an aquascape but it failed miserably. I found i am much better at aquaponics...

lots of respect

Welcome welcome! I'm from Orlando too. I've been dying to get a tank set up so I can get some CSR shrimp at home. I heard they are hard to keep but figured I'd give it a stab. Maybe I can buy some off you in the future if you have extras.

Your planted tank looks beautiful. Everytime I mess with plants in my fish tank I always get dead leaves and debris everywhere. Congrats on making it look so nice.
