Welcome...you've arrived just in time to catch the last train to the Aquaponic Addiction Farm with the rest of us. There is no shot for it and NO cure...

JCO that is not entirely true. I have found dumping more money into system parts, gives relief for a little while. Of course that is usually offset, once I see I still need MORE stuff!!

I think the fish are fighting back.
They are taking AP people and making them "swim with the fishes"

I have been pondering the same thing. I hope that it's not folks who give up on AP and lose interest. I'd rather it be that folks get their start and then chug along w/o wanting to post anymore. At least this way self sufficiency would be propagating.

It would be very easy to quit if they had just a very small setup. With the setbacks that I have had, self made most of them, it has crossed my mind. But I figure its up and running, some of the plants are doing fair, and the fish are entertaining if nothing else. To me it's a way to occupy my mind, and at my age I am learning to have patience, something I have never been very good at. Plus you guys have also been so helpful and fun to talk with.

Ah, patience and delayed gratification, two things that gardening and AP have thought me...

What is this patience thing of which you speak......
Trying to learn and stop tinkering......
Must ...non....touch....

Lol. So true. It is hard to not tinker, especially in the beginning.
