This stuff grows like crazy! There has to be some use for it. Does anyone know what this stuff is good for? I thought it was maybe related to the duckweed, but unfortunately it's not even close.

Do fish eat it ? If not, Compost.
Since it's considered invasive in 46 states, there is the question of it being legal to have it and/or transport it.

This stuff grows as fast as duckweed, but I cannot find a use for it. I think I will stick with the duckweed! :-)

It has been tested to remove copper from water.

Oh yes, that's true! I also read a few papers that stated it removed all heavy metals very efficiently. I can't think of a way to apply that that's useful for us though. Most systems are fairly low in copper since it's toxic to the fish. Who knows... good thought though :-)

Dead sled...the link takes me to a site, but it says...
The requested article is not currently available on this site.
Duck weed can remove metals so well, that it can be toxic to eat it....
So far it looks like 'compost' and/or just grow it to remove nutes, if you have nothing else growing.
