Hey brand new to this aquaponics world, but I'm very interested. I'm wondering how to keep this alive through the winter if I were to make one?

A water heater and a greenhouse works for me. Where abouts in MD?

if you can't do a greenhouse, you could do it indoors - i'm in northeast ohio and building in my basement..
i just ordered 3 yards of gravel to be delivered wednesday! yay!

Essex/Baltimore. Yea I have just a crawl space so it eliminates the basement ideas. Outside is really my only option. Im definetly thinking a green house I'm just concerned about the electric bill in the winter. If possible I would like to be able to make it powered solar or something. I'm concerned about an economic collapse and want to be as self sufficient as possible

That's a geodesic dome greenhouse. I love those things, most efficient I have found. What are your thoughts? I find either people like em or hate em.
