First of all, thanks to those who have provided this Forum and have shared some good information. I do apperciate it.

I am an old soldier who recently found about aquaponics. Have done a lot of reading on it and watching many you tube clips.
Last week I started on building a system starting with building the frame for the fish tank, and this weekend I will place roofing EPDM inside of it and get it ready for water. My plan is to have the AP system running by end of April, if everything goes right all the way around.
By the way, I am located in great State of North Carolina and loving it.
