Hi everyone
I'm totally new to this, and will probably be a pain in the arse with lots of questions!
I have just been awarded some money from UnLtd Wales to research and write a business plan for a social enterprise involving aquaponics, the idea being that I can use it to provide work and cheap, healthy and sustainable food production for the SW valleys area I live in. Considering I've never used aquaponics before its an ambitious plan, but I'm nothing if not optimistic and ambitious!
I have decided that with some of the money for my award, I am going to have a small system to learn about aquaponics, and to test it out, tell people about it and get an idea of how well it will be received in the area. I am thinking about making my own system, using recycled materials, in line with the ideas of sustainability I hope to promote with the project.
I am sure I will be here lots over the next few months, and thank you in advance for your help!
