So, I know I'm very new to the whole Tilapia "scene"...however....I found quite a few interesting things about the wami tilapia. Is there any place that these can be purchased as a mated set?...or...mixed fry/fingerlings? I love the idea of using them to hybridize..however...I'd like to keep a set for future generations.

Wami Tilapia O. hornorum (http://www.diyaquaponics.com/forum/showthread.php?20-Wami-Tilapia-O-hornorum)

You may want to check on your states regs on talipia...

Don't wammied by the wami. There are no pure ones available in the USA. None will produce all male hybrids, or anything close to it. Get a supermale nile or two. These will produce all male non-hybrid fish with no trace of hormones.

We're all waiting for you to start selling them... at least I am! I don't think I could trust any other source to be honest.
