Got 5 new floating rafts set up on my two systems and I'm itching to get some plants started. But I have a question: What plants do you Floridians plant at various times of the year for your floating raft systems? I've got some mint and some strawberry plants, and even a small tomato plant I am going to experiment with as transplants. I'm also starting some lettuce seeds that I can set out in a few weeks, but I'm worried it may still be too warm for lettuce here. Will probably buy some herb seeds of various kinds too. Just wondered what other recommendations y'all might have.
Thanks! :)
Tomatoes can produce between now and Nov. You should wait until about the middle to late Sept. to start your spinish and Gourmet Lettuce as they like cooler weather to produce. Lettuce usually takes about 45 to 50 day from planting to harvest, however you can harvest some leaves off each plant as they mature with doing any damage.

It appears, we have used the 'same document'.
You used charts "3", which is great info, showing 'when' to plant.
I specifically mentioned charts 4 A through C, so BSF (and others in FL) would have 'recommended names' of plants to look for. (see the 2nd colum in chart 4)
Fl can be a tuff state, to grow veggies in...the more info, the better.... :D
