yeah, it does look good.. i like the looks of those rubbermaid stock tanks..i don't think i could get one into my basement though..
you're going to want to shade your tank to keep from getting an algae bloom... and maybe some netting to stop jumpers
oh, and i don't want to forget to mention safety issues if there are little ones in your neighborhood

Question, I have a guy who offered to sell me new Hydroton 50 liter bags for $16. From what I have seen on the web that's about 1/2 off, right? He said if I help unload the truck he will give me 35 bags (50 liters each) for $500.

35 bags would cost me $1200 at my local hydro shop. I'd jump on $500 if you trust the guy.

Just met him on craigslist, don't know him at all. he said he is a wholesaler and purchased extra for the discount, and is willing to dump some off at cost. :?

ya mean 50 liters, or that's downright highway robbery!
i can get it for $20/50 liter bag at a mostly mail order shop near my job, $16 is a great deal!

  :D It's raining and my fish are getting wet.  I wonder how much the rain will change my water comp. I should check it after the rain. I would love to set up a green house before winter and keep things going, but no job no money. I found 6 mil plastic to make my own panels for a green house, is that strong enough to sustain strong winds?
